<p>To get fit and healthy takes a lot of work. With this blog I try to bring you what I believe are the best resources to aid you in your quest to get that six pack abs look.</p>
<p>People can sometimes find it hard trying to do the same routine each and every week. Which is why I preach to you about using variety in your workouts. Variety can help in keeping your mental focus and motivation high.</p>
<p>You see, the knowledge that you gain from reading  through my materials is only one small piece of  the puzzle.  If you don&#8217;t actually get up off your butt and TAKE ACTION, you&#8217;ll get nowhere, and very fast.</p>
<p>Doing the same workouts over and over is a motivation killer.  Eventually you get bored and stop doing your workouts. There are ways that you may be able to avoid this and continue on your quest to get fit and healthy.</p>
<p>The root behind the right motivation to get fit and healthy is why you even wanted to start at all. If you wanted so much to lose weight, add lean muscle and get that six pack abs look then that would be your primary motivation to follow an exercise and training program. Then all you need to do is to keep reminding yourself every day why you are doing what you do and what you want to get from it.</p>

<p>One of the most important keys to sticking to your exercise program is having the proper motivation.  In short, without the proper motivation you would not be able to stick to any fitness routine, long enough to achieve any results.</p>
<p>Motivation is something that does not happen in an instant. Motivation needs to be worked at. Just when you can find enough motivation, it can also be easy enough to lose. Remind yourself of what your motivation was to start with.</p>
<p>One way of reminding yourself of the what you are doing to keep the motivation up is learning to have a visual image of what you want to look like. If you want to get that six pack abs look, you might want to have a visual image of what you will look like after achieving your goal.</p>
<p>Another way to keep your motivation up while on an exercise program is by not doing it alone. Find someone with the same fitness goals you have. This way, you have someone who can give you the motivation  to do better.  Having a friend to work out with can help provide you with the necessary motivation that you need to keep going.</p>
<p>Another way to keep up your motivation is by keeping track of your progress. Try to have a record of your previous weight or size and try to keep track of the changes on a weekly basis to give you an account of the pounds that you have lost and the inches that have melted away due to your hard work on your goal to get that six pack abs look. Just by keeping track and being aware of the positive changes would even give you more motivation to do better and keep going.</p>

<p>A common misconception is that women have to workout much different than men do in order to see appropriate results. But the truth is, men and women are born with an equal number of muscles and workouts can just be tweaked to achieve the most success.</p>
<p>The main difference between men and women in terms of muscle building is that men have much higher levels of testosterone, which helps to build muscle. Women on the other hand have more estrogen, which naturally works towards storing fat. Regardless of these hormonal differences however, if you follow the correct workout and nutrition strategy you&#8217;ll be able to see results.</p>

You gain and store fat when you ingest more calories than you burn every day. <p>When you stop working out your metabolism decreases and so you burn fewer calories, and of course you aren&#8217;t participating in the physical exercise and stimulation that you were before.</p>
<p>The bottom line is that bodybuilding can be very advantageous to women. You&#8217;re going to need to adopt a great strategy to succeed and you&#8217;ll have to be very dedicated and committed to achieve your goals. If you put in the hard work, then the results will follow.</p>
<p>1. The first thing that you can do is to appropriately change your diet so that you can allow for muscle growth and burning fat. If you make a few small changes you will be able to easily transform for your entire routine.</p>
<p>One way to do this is by eating five or six meals a day instead of three larger meals. This will keep your metabolism burning at a much higher rate and will leave you much more energetic all throughout the day.</p>
<p>2. Another thing you should do is to start working in compound exercises into your workouts. This will save you time because you workout more muscles at one time and it will also stimulate muscle growth throughout your entire body. The most popular and effective compound exercises include the bench press, squats and deadlifts. Using these exercises will help you easily pack on muscle mass.</p>
<p>3. You&#8217;ll also need to be sure that you get enough rest so that your muscles are allowed to grow and repair. You need to get a full night&#8217;s rest every night, to the tune of about 98 hours.</p>
<p>Your muscles grow while you are sleeping because your body&#8217;s other processes are shut down. Therefore if you don’t get enough rest, your muscles will never get the chance to repair themselves and grow bigger and stronger.</p>

<p>Pilates also seeks to reach many of the same goals as does Yoga by way of a series of movements that are very controlled. The major difference between Pilates and Yoga is that while doing Pilates exercises not only makes use of a mat, but it also incorporates work on different Pilates machines. The main thrust of the Pilates exercises is to improve posture, strengthen the abdominal muscles, improve balance, lengthen and stabilize the spine and improve overall strength. Pilates will tend to give you a leaner, longer, dancer-like line.</p>

<p>Unlike a variety of other training programs, Pilates makes an effort to work the whole body and places its emphasis on precision, control, and concentration in both the body as well as the mind. There is no attempt made at doing many repetitions at a time in a rapid, haphazard fashion. Instead, the focus is placed on quality and not the amount of reps you do. The &#8220;powerhouse&#8221; that consists of the lower back, abdominal muscles and the buttocks are at the center of all movement and this allows the rest of your body to move fluidly and freely. When one focuses on core stabilization, it makes the student stronger from the inside out. This is critical for the advancement of the Pilates student. Pilates is low impact by nature and, therefore, it is ideal for the prevention of injury and for rehabilitation. Pilates has six guiding principles – concentration, centering, flow, control, breathing and precision. These principles train the body to move more efficiently while placing minimal impact on the body. With Pilates, there is a definite balance between flexibility and strength that creates a vigorous, symmetrical and health workout for all of the different muscle groups, which will result in a more balanced, leaner, and stronger body.</p>
